CPC senior official meets Iranian leaders
Li Changchun, a senior official of the Communist Party of China, has arrived in Iran's capital of Tehran for an official goodwill visit to Iran. During his trip Li met with top Iranian officials.
In his meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahamadijad, the two reviewed diplomatic ties between the nations. They also agreed to enhance political exchanges and trust, deepen economic and trade cooperation, and promote cultural exchanges between the two countries. They also exchanged views on international and regional issues.
Li reiterated China's stance on Iran's nuclear dispute, saying China hopes all parties related,will solve the issue through dialogue and negotiations, and China is willing to play an active role in the process. Li Changchun also met with the country's Vice President.
Li wants to see the two governments, fully implement the agreements of cooperation in various fields, such as infrastructure construction, telecommunication, tourism and sports.
Iran's Vice President, says cooperation between China and Iran has huge potential, and his country will stick to its policy of keeping Sino-Iranian relations on the right track. They later witnessed, the signing ceremony of Culture, Education cooperation. They also attended the opening ceremony, of China Central Television's bureau in Tehran.
