Luo Zhijun: Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC
Luo Zhijun was born in November 1951 in Lingyuan, Liaoning Province.
From 1968 to 1978,he worked in the North Sea Fleet of the Navy as a fighter. Afterwards, he worked in the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China until the early 1990s and began to work in Nanjing in 1995.
He assumed the post of secretary of the Nanjing municipal committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in April 2003.Meanwhile,Luo was also elected the member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee. In 2008,he was elected to the post at the first session of the 11th Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress, four weeks after he was appointed vice and acting governor. In December 2010, Luo Zhijun was elected secretary of east China's Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.
On November 8, 2011, at the first plenary session of the 12th CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, he was elected secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC again.
