Xi's appeal to curb waste gets warm response

Chinese netizens have launched an online campaign against food wastage, calling on people to take uneaten food home after banquets and to take action to curb waste. The campaign, dubbed "Eating up your dishes", not only echoes the central government's calls for putting an end to extravagant official banquets but also reflects citizens' growing awareness and concern about food wastage.
